The ADHDtime Help Center

frequently asked questions answered

What is ADHD coaching?

ADHD coaching is a collaborative, goal-oriented process that helps individuals develop practical strategies for managing challenges related to attention, executive functioning, memory, organization, time management, and life transitions. Coaching helps bridge the gap between knowing what you want to do and actually doing it by providing structure, accountability, support, and practical tools that fit your life.

Coaching can help with school, work, relationships, parenting, retirement, and other major transitions. While coaching is not a replacement for therapy or medical care, it often works well alongside evidence-based treatment and other professional supports.

Can I schedule a Discovery Call?

Yes. If you're interested in coaching, you can schedule a complimentary Discovery Call. This is an opportunity to discuss your goals, ask questions, learn about the coaching process, and determine whether we're a good fit to work together.

Do I need an ADHD diagnosis to work with you?

No. Many clients have a formal ADHD diagnosis, while others are exploring whether ADHD may be contributing to their challenges. Coaching focuses on your goals and daily functioning rather than a diagnosis alone.

Can coaching help with forgetfulness and memory?

Yes. Many clients seek support for challenges related to remembering appointments, deadlines, commitments, and future tasks. Daniella's background in prospective memory research allows her to help clients develop systems that reduce reliance on memory and support follow-through.
